It’s a very stressful time for everyone. Exams take up alot of time not only doing them but revising and studying for them! I know from experience that you don’t pay much attention to the things you usually do including your skin, which means you tend not to take as much care as you usually do when you’re not stressed out.

Stress does not only affect how you feel but it also affects your skin. During times of stress, the skin is constantly being starved of both blood and oxygen, which causes the skin to take on a dull and lifeless appearance. It can also cause breakouts from lack of sleep and your eating habits. The best thing to do is be prepared  before you have to start cramming for exams,  that includes eating healthy, before and during your exam period, you want to make sure that your skin is getting the vitamins and minerals it should be getting. You also want to make sure that you are staying hydrated which will not only make you feel refreshed but it will also help the skin flush away any unwanted toxins beneath the surface.

During your exam weeks you want to make sure that you stick with your everyday skin care routine which should include a Cleanser twice a day, a toner, a moisturiser and once or twice a week and an exfoliant (you can even make your own ones). While revising its great to put on a face mask, it does not only make you feel relaxed but it’s great for your skin.  The last thing would be exercise, exercise gets your blood pumping and makes you feel great, it’s a great way to stay fit and healthy but it’s also great for your skin as it also helps your skin stay healthy and it gives it a soft glow.
