Venturing back to high school this morning, the Clean Start team joined Madonna Catholic Secondary School to celebrate Madonna Day and help spread women’s health awareness– the amazing theme for the special events of the day!
Clean Start’s very own Skin Coach, Kara Barber, was the keynote speaker and gave a stellar presentation – both interesting and inspirational! Sharing the vital importance of taking care of your skin, Kara revealed the truth behind mythical misconceptions of skin care (toothpaste does not equal pimple destroyer!), drilled out the essential use of SPF on the daily – and on the same token, to avoid tanning beds (they are NOT safer than the sun)!
The response from all the young ladies was awesome! Kara engaged the girls and motivated the group to join the FITE, Financial Independence Through Entrepreneurship – our global initiative to provide women entrepreneurs access to small loans that will help them start or grow a business; and to help educate the public at large about the benefits of empowering women entrepreneurs.
Everyone left with an amenity pack filled with amazing Clean Start products, including: wash off, all over clear, welcome matte and bedtime for breakouts, as well as a FITE code to redeem a $1 microloan. Six lucky students will also win skin kits – don’t forget to like us on Facebook to win!
